I am having trouble with the volume control with my radio. When I turn the volume control knob it will not increase the volume. Sometimes I can kep turning and turning and it will start working. Also, it sounds strange but it does seem to be better and usually works fine after the car warms up to normal temp, but not always. What am I not understanding about it.?? Sometimes the volume will increase when I turn the knob backwards.

I do not know about how the car temp affects it. I would think it doesn't but you never know. You might need a new radio because mines was doing the same thing. I just got an aftermarket one and replaced it. You'd have to do the same or just buy a stock radio from eBay or the dealership.

you might live on border line with an radio station,,, try another station, i heard the glass antennas don't work that well

I,m not sure that the temperature would even have any affect on my problem either.
Also, it doesn't matter which station I'm on it does the same thing and is the same on FM or AM.
I'm pretty certain it is a problem with the volume control but I just can't figure what it could be.
As far as replacing the radio, just what is the procedure for removing the Radio?? Especially how the front bezel/ face plate is attached. Will it just snap off or is there some screws holding it in.??

jsut pull on it, i do it al lthe time and the radio is held in with like one screw in the back lol
